Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Where is my homework listed?
It is on the front board in the classroom. Daily homework is listed as well as a week at a glance.
2. Can I use my cell phone or I pod to take a picture of the homework?
Yes. I encourage students to use technology and apply it to the classroom environment.
3. How do I understand the portal?
The portal lists the assignments. If the assignment is listed as grades complete, it means I have entered all assignments that were turned in on time. If the portal states grades incomplete, it means the assignments are not put in yet. GOOGLE CLASSROOM is the best way to have a day-to-day view of your child's work and assignments.
4. If I am absent, can I make up the assignments?
Yes. You can make-up anything you miss, including tests. It is important you ask me for missed work and to make-up tests. I will then schedule a time for you to turn in the work and take the tests.
5. When can I get extra help with homework?
You can come in during homeroom. Ask me for a pass and I can write it out for you. It is important to plan ahead and ask before homeroom begins.
6. How can I contact you?
It is preferred for you to use email. I check my email frequently. The school district has a 72 hour policy within which staff responds to email. I do not check email after 2:40 PM daily and or until the next business day.
