8th Grade English has six main units. In each unit we will read a novel as well as short stories and articles. There will also be a unit on poetry.

Stay in your seat.
Wait for Ms. Morales to excuse you at the end of the class period.
Ask permission to leave the class.
Participate in class at the appropriate time
Bring your personal best to class everyday.

The Google classroom on your child’s google account is the best way to get a day to day view of your child’s work.
The Aeries parent portal is not a day to day view. It is updated at each grading period.

Homework Policy:
Late homework is accepted the first two weeks of school.
Beginning the third week of school, no late work will be accepted.
